The PP201499 harness adapter is used to convert Volvo, Isuzu and GMC 6E-wiring found in the following list to ISO-DIN wiring.
- VOLVO / ISUZU MODELS BUILT AFTER 2/93 BEFORE 11/03
- WHITE GMC MODELS BUILT AFTER 10/93
This wiring adapter converts the factory stereo wiring connector all above listed Volvo, Isuzu and GMC trucks to the new standard ISO-DIN plug. After plugging in the PP201499 adapter you will be able to directly connect to any DEA355, DEA5XX, or DEA7XX series stereo. This includes all late model Delphi and all current model Aptiv brand heavy-duty truck stereos found on the STS website.
If you are going to install an aftermarket stereo such as Alpine, Jensen, Kenwood, Pioneer etc.., you should use this PP201499 wiring adapter plus our PP205250 ISO-DIN to Aftermarket adapter which allows direct wiring to an aftermarket brand stereo harness without cutting into your factory wiring.
