The PP201498 harness adapter is used to convert Mack 5A-wiring found in the following list to ISO-DIN wiring.
- CAB OVER ENGINE (COE) MODEL MH
- RD,RM,DM,DMM,MR MODELS BUILT AFTER 11/92
- CH & CL SERIES, VISION MODELS BUILT BETWEEN 11/92 AND 11/03
This wiring adapter converts the two-connector factory stereo wiring in your Mack truck to the new standard ISO-DIN plug. After plugging in the PP201498 adapter you will be able to directly connect to any DEA355, DEA5XX, or DEA7XX series stereo. This includes all late model Delphi and all current model Aptiv brand heavy-duty truck stereos found on the STS website.
If you are going to install an aftermarket stereo such as Alpine, Jensen, Kenwood, Pioneer etc.., you should use this PP201498 wiring adapter plus our PP205250 ISO-DIN to Aftermarket adapter which allows direct wiring to an aftermarket brand stereo harness without cutting into your factory wiring.
