Panasonic Infotainment System for Kenworth and Peterbilt

The Panasonic Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay® is a Direct Replacement for current Peterbilt SmartNav® 2.0 and Kenworth NavPlus HD systems. The screen and radio will fit in the same mounting location without any modifications.

The Infotainment System consists of a 7" Smart Display and the radio head unit. This is the same Infotainment system sold at walk-in dealerships, and also the same system rolling off the line in new trucks being built today.

The Touchscreen functions as the main display managing the entire user interface. The display with resistive touch-screen manages the Applications, Phone interface, Audio, Internet, Bluetooth / Wi-Fi connections as well as the Apple CarPlay®.

The Radio module is built with just 3 large easy to see buttons, a volume knob and a USB input jack.

The Panasonic Infotainment System kits are 100% brand new, never used and never refurbished. These Kits feature the latest electronic components, as well as the latest in programming and system updates.

This new, high-tech infotainment system also makes adding cameras quick and easy. Real-time screen views for up to four cameras are directly and instantly accessible. You will need to order part number: PP207341. This adapter will allow connection of up to four truck cameras to the infotainment system. There are analog and 720P HD cameras available. You can use either with this system but you can't use both. The 720P cameras offer outstanding picture quality.

If your truck came with a second generation smartnav or navplus hd system and you'd like to replace it - this is the retrofit kit for you. Just refer to the chart below to determine which kit is required for your particular make, model and baud rate.

If your truck was originally equipped with a first generation smartnav, or navplus and you had upgraded to the second gen 2.0 or HD system then you can still use this Infotainment kit just the same.

Installation is made easy. Simply remove the original stereo, screen and bluetooth mic. Replace with new equipment and it's essentially done. There aren't a bunch of wires to replace as there were when upgrading from gen 1 to gen 2. This system uses the truck's existing ISO DIN connector for power and speakers, then the screen and stereo connect to each other. If you can install a stereo, you can install the Panasonic Infotainment system in your Kenworth or Peterbilt trucks. 100% Plug-and-Play!

Use this chart to determine which kit you will need based on the make (KW or PB), model and baud rate. You will see the kit sub-models listed in the left column and the compatible truck configurations located to the right. Generally trucks built up to about 2015 will have a 250K baud rate while newer trucks will have the 500K baud rate. If you don't know for sure which your truck uses, find out before purchasing the Panasonic infotainment system for your KW or PB.
