The PP407078 is the SiriusXM antenna for our stereos that have a built-in SXM tuner. The low hockey-puck housing sits flat so it stays out of the way and is less likely to catch a branch or other obstacle.
No cutting or drilling is required. Stick it to any clean, dry, flat horizontal surface with the included adhesive tape. It's designed with a short tail for installation inside the cab mounted to the dash. It can be installed on a roof, sleeper cap, or other metal or fiberglass panel with a clear view of the sky works best.
Keep it away from light bars, stacks, and other gear that can block the satellite signal. Wherever you decide to mount it, make sure that the connector is kept dry and out of the elements.
