The PP802458 is a SiriusXM mirror-mount antenna kit and it's perfect for use with any of our stereos that have a built-in SXM tuner. It is interoperable and certified for use with all SiriusXM receivers.
The housing mounts securely to the driver or passenger mirror with the included bracket and hardware. The low profile keeps it out of the path of low branches that tear up other satellite radio antennas. The connection lead is an 8 ft cable with an SMB connector in a FAKRA housing that plugs directly into our SXM equipped stereos. A 6 ft extension is included in the kit if you need more reach.
No cab modification is required beyond routing the cable. Give the antenna a clear view of the sky and keep it away from stacks and light bars that can block the signal.
