This power relay by the InstallBay is a heavy-duty 30 amp relay featuring five (5) blade wiring terminals. This relay can be used for any number of jobs requiring power connect/disconnect for heavy loads using nothing more than a small signal feed from either a manual switch, the vehicle ignition wire, or even the amp turn on wire from a truck stereo.
Relay Terminal Functions
- #85 & #86: Activate Internal Coil/Electromagnet
- #30: Connects to Power Source 12V+
- #87: Connects to Load such as flood light, amplifier, motor, etc..
- #87a: Normally not used. Always internally connected to terminal #30 when trigger is not supplied.
